Bringing the oldest luxury asset class into modern financial infrastructure.
Founded in 2021, dVIN Labs was created to solve a fundamental inefficiency: fine wine is a $1 trillion global asset class, yet it remains completely illiquid while aging in cellars.
Our Story
Wine is a slow business operating in a fast world. For centuries, chateaus and collectors have locked up massive amounts of capital in cellars, waiting years for wines to mature. Traditional finance has largely ignored this asset class due to the complexities of provenance, storage, and authentication.
dVIN Labs built the infrastructure to change this. We started by solving the provenance problem—creating the Digital Cork standard to tether physical bottles to cryptographic tokens. After piloting with over 70 wineries and tokenizing approximately $2M in wine, we are now extending that secure provenance layer into working capital infrastructure.
Core Values
- Provenance-FirstWithout perfect physical provenance, digital tokens are meaningless. We start at the source.
- Sovereign by DesignSelf-custody where possible, institutional custody where required. Users own their assets.
- Institution-GradeBuilt to meet the compliance, security, and reporting standards of family offices and banks.
- Community-LedBuilding alongside the winemakers, collectors, and technologists who share our vision.
